Remove the odor from the carpet

① Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the carpet
First, thoroughly clean the carpet with a vacuum cleaner and prepare for odor removal treatment. If your carpet has a lot of dust, first use a broom to clean it, raise the fibers to loosen the dust, and then use a vacuum cleaner to suck it again.
② Making a odor removal mixture
Carpets can be effectively cleaned using what your cabinet may already have. Mix the following ingredients that you do not plan to use for cooking again into a bowl:
Cup Borax (can be purchased at a hardware store)
2 cups of oatmeal
1/2 cup fermentation powder
③ Treat stained or odorous areas with vinegar and water
Fill half vinegar and half water in the spray, and spray on the place to be treated. Make sure not to be completely soaked by the liquid, as you do not want unexpired water to cause mold growth.
④ Sprinkle the oatmeal mixture into the carpet
Evenly spray the carpet and concentrate on dirtier or moldy areas. Leave the room and let the mixture sit in the carpet for one hour.
When the mixture is left standing in the carpet, let children and pets leave the room.
Do not use more powder than your vacuum cleaner can handle. Gently spraying should be enough to remove odors and mild stains.
⑤ Clean again with a vacuum cleaner
Use a vacuum cleaner multiple times on the carpet to clean the oatmeal mixture. When you finish, discard the vacuum bag.
